AI agents with their own crypto wallet.

Yesterday, MetaMask opened early access to Agent Wallet, which lets an automated trading agent move funds on-chain while the person keeps their own keys. The agent can swap, trade, and provide liquidity, but only inside limits the owner sets in advance.

The interesting part is what sits between the agent and the money. Every transaction the agent attempts runs through a simulation, a threat scan, and a check against the owner's rules before it can settle. Anything outside those rules pauses for human approval by email or phone.

An agent that can sign is an agent that can be tricked into signing. The rules around it, not the model, are what decide how much a bad instruction can move.
