An audit trail the operator cannot edit.

Every SciPHR transaction settles on the XRP Ledger, a public record the whole network validates and agrees on. Once a transaction is validated, it holds a fixed place in that history, and no one can quietly change an amount or erase that it happened.

The backend stops at the edges. It prepares an unsigned transaction and broadcasts the signed one your device returns. It cannot rewrite the ledger, because settlement is the network's job. What lands on-chain is what your device signed, recorded where anyone can read it.

That makes the audit trail a property of the ledger rather than a log SciPHR keeps and could revise. A traditional service can edit its own database. Here the record sits on the ledger, outside any single operator's reach.
