XRPL: Credentials and Deep Freeze.

XRPL introduced two features via amendments: Credentials and Deep Freeze. Both target enterprise use where compliance and control are required.

KYC has historically been the blocker for crypto adoption. Teams either collect too much sensitive data or skip what's required and create risk.

Credentials lets an approved provider confirm a wallet's KYC status and return only the required information.

Deep Freeze complements clawback. Clawback can recover an issuer's token after settlement under defined conditions.

Deep Freeze lets the issuer lock its token in a flagged account so it can't be transferred until the issue is cleared.

State stays on-chain, actions are auditable, and operations map to off-chain controls.
