Polymarket Arbitrage and Prediction Market Pricing Gaps

2026-01-07

You might have seen many copy-paste posts about Polymarket Arbitrage bots.

Prediction markets, such as Polymarket, often reveal pricing gaps before traditional markets adjust. Liquidity tends to be thinner because there are generally fewer participants, and most capital concentrates only as the specific event nears resolution.

Traditional equity markets don't operate in the same manner. Information is filtered through analysts, earnings calls, guidance, and derivatives. By the time the price becomes clear, the move has usually already happened.

Early prices usually reflect headlines and initial positioning rather than complete information. As more people participate and positions become more established, prices tend to move quickly.
