XRPL 3.0.0

The software was released in December, but XRPL upgrades do not take effect immediately. Validators vote first, and then amendments are activated after a two-week window.

For builders, the update improves the behavior around AMMs, oracle data, and token (MPT) escrow and metadata. These are areas where edge cases and inconsistencies from new features and functionality previously existed.

The result is more predictable ledger behavior. For node operators, upgrading is necessary to stay in consensus. For applications, this is the network that officially enables changes to improve overall reliability.
