Permissioned Domains on XRPL
Today, the XRP Ledger activated permissioned domains. This allows restricted areas to exist on the public ledger where only accounts with approved credentials can make transactions.
Think of it like a corporate network or VPN. The internet is still open, but only authorized users can access certain systems or perform certain actions.
For businesses and institutions, this enables them to operate on a public blockchain while controlling who can participate, without changing or overcomplicating the underlying network.
